When you buy UGC from us, you receive commercial usage rights under our Content License and these terms. You must protect our creators and follow all usage restrictions. AI-assisted editing is allowed; AI generation, alteration of the people in the footage, and training are not (details below).
After payment, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the purchased videos and images for your brand across paid and organic channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, websites, email, and ads) for 12 months from purchase (custom videos: from delivery), as set out in the Content License. You can renew or upgrade to a perpetual license at any time. Purchases made before October 26, 2026 keep their perpetual license. Editing is permitted, by hand or with AI-assisted editing tools: cutting, trimming, cropping, reframing, sequencing, speed changes, captions, text, music, transitions, color and exposure adjustments, and combining clips with your own product footage, provided the result complies with all other restrictions. No purchase, subscription, download, or commercial license permits AI generation based on the Content (see below).
To protect our creators, you may not use the content for:
These rules cover all videos, images, photographs, B-roll, package assets, and custom creator deliverables made available through DansUGC, including previews, free and paid content, raw files, and any frames, stills, screenshots, crops, excerpts, or copies of that content (collectively, "Content").
Allowed: you may use AI-assisted editing tools and agents (for example an AI video editor, auto-captioning, or an AI agent that assembles your edit) to cut, trim, crop, reframe, sequence, speed up or slow down, caption, add text, music and transitions to, color-correct, and combine Content with your own footage, as long as the people in the Content and what they do stay exactly as filmed. Use tools whose terms do not let them train on your uploads.
Not allowed: you must not use AI to create new content from Content or to change the people in it. In particular, you must not use AI to:
These examples are not exhaustive: any AI generation or alteration of the people in the Content is prohibited, even if the result is for private or internal use or is never published. You must not ask or permit an employee, agency, contractor, or other third party acting on your behalf to do any of the above.
Breaching any prohibited use (NSFW, gambling, prohibited AI use including generation, alteration of people, or training, reputational harm, or reselling) results in an immediate fine of $50,000 USD per violation, termination of the license, and potential legal action to protect our creators.
When you hire a creator full-time through DansUGC, the engagement is a subscription between your brand and DansUGC. The creator works with you exclusively through our platform.
Our creators are the core of DansUGC and every introduction we make is our work product. If you hire, contract, or otherwise engage a creator you met through DansUGC directly, outside the platform and without our written consent, you agree to pay a creator buyout fee of $30,000 USD per creator. This applies to any form of direct engagement, including one-off contracts, retainers, employment, or payment routed through third parties. We also reserve the right to terminate your account and pursue legal action.

We may update these terms and the Content License for future purchases and will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page. A change never shortens or narrows the license of something you have already bought: each purchase stays under the version in force when it was made.
